About The Role: Job Overview The Tax Accountant is a newly established role within our PE backed facilities management business. The successful individual will assist with annual tax compliance / reporting processes and contribute to various tax and finance projects. Additionally, the Tax Accountant will enhance the visibility of the tax department across the UK&I business, serving as a key point of contact for tax queries. Role responsibilities: Working with external advisers on the planning, preparation and filing of corporation tax returns for all UK entities Support on tax related audit queries Assist with integration and onboarding of newly acquired companies Partner with the business and respond to internal tax and VAT queries Maintain accurate records of tax filings and payments Reconciliation of corporate tax charges and withholding tax deductions suffered in the UK Ensure all tax-related documentation is properly organised and easily accessible Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures Support tax and finance teams on ad-hoc projects About you: Ideally, you are ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified with experience in UK corporate tax matters and some tax accounting exposure Strong organisational, communication and time management skills Proficient with Excel and experienced working with large volumes of data Proactive approach to problem-solving Excellent attention to detail and accuracy High level of integrity and ethical standards How to Apply: If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.
