Withyear on year success my client is planning for the next phase ofgrowth seeking a dynamic Finance Director / Chief Finance Officerto join their team and lead their financial strategy with a focuson digital transformation automation through datadrivendecisionmaking and commercialexcellence.
Asan experienced and strategic thinking Finance Director / ChiefFinancial Officer you will experience of leading a finance functionable to guide my client through its growth trajectory. The idealcandidate will have a proven track record of optimising financialperformance automating processes and fostering growth in bothstartup and largescale environments.
KeyResponsibilities:
Strategic FinancialLeadership:
* Develop and executefinancial strategies that align with the company s growth andprofitability goals.
* Work closely with the executiveteam to shape longterm business plans including funding innovationgrants acquisitions and new ventures.
* Provide insights andrecommendations to senior management based on thorough financialanalysis and forecasting.
Financial Planning& Analysis(FP&A):
* Oversee the FP&A functionensuring accurate forecasting budgeting andreporting.
* Create and maintain financialmodels to guide decisionmaking and evaluate strategicinitiatives.
* Developkey performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results(OKRs) to measure the companys financialhealth.
Digital Transformation& Process Automation:
* Lead the digital transformationof the finance function focusing on automation to improveefficiency and transparency.
* Implement AI and advancedanalytics tools to reduce manual errors and acceleratereporting.
* Drivecontinuous improvement by adopting innovative technology solutionsthat enhance financial decisionmaking.
Risk Management &Compliance:
* Identify and mitigate financialrisks through proactivestrategies.
* Ensure compliance withregulatory standards and internal financial controls.
* Enhance the costefficiency andperformance of financial systems and controls.
TeamLeadership &Development:
* Lead and mentor a highperformingfinance team fostering professional development and continuousimprovement.
* Promote crossfunctionalcollaboration to ensure financial alignment with broader businessobjectives.
* Buildstrong relationships with departments to drive financial literacyand accountability.
StakeholderManagement:
* Maintain strong relationshipswith key stakeholders including investors auditors and regulatorybodies.
* Lead investor relationsproviding timely and accurate financial reports to supportfundraising and strategic partnerships.
* Represent the company sfinancial interests in negotiations with partners clients andvendors.
CommercialFinance & Strategy:
* Providefinancial insights to commercial teams driving revenue growth andcostoptimisation.
* Evaluate new businessopportunities such as market entry product development and pricingstrategies.
* Ensure financial strategies alignwith commercial objectives balancing shortterm and longtermneeds.
Requirements
* Minimum of 10 years ofexperience in finance with at least 5 years in a senior leadershiprole within a fintech technology or relatedindustry.
* Proven experience in financialplanning analysis and reporting with expertise in digitaltransformation and processautomation.
* Strong commercial acumenstrategic mindset and ability to lead crossfunctionalteams.
* Proficiency in financialmodelling data analytics and advanced financial software withexperience using tools such asXero.
