Prestigious growing family-owned company, based in Old Dalby, Leicestershire, are looking for a Technical Printing Co-Ordinator to join them on a temp to perm basis.

The company engrave and provide specialist labels to the network cabling, electrical and engineering industries. The position is varied and a key role within the company. You will be asked to liaise with customers from initial contact and quote, engraving the labels to invoice.
The position consists of liaising with customers and assisting in all aspects of making and despatching of the bespoke labels. There are many variations of this type of label but they all tend to have number sequences engraved on them. The labels are laid out using Excel and a drawing package and then made from laminated acrylic using laser engraving machines.
The successful candidate will also get involved in many aspects of running a small business such as stock management, dispatch and liaising with suppliers.
The role requires:
* Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Good understanding of the wide range of equipment (patch panels) to be labelled and the different label templates required (training will be given).
* Setting up detailed layouts for labels using Excel and Corel Draw.
* Running the laser engraving machines to make the labels.
* Preparing quotes, invoices and delivery notes in Sage.

* Educated to GCSE level, including Maths and English.
* Several years’ work experience and the desire to be in a small business environment.
The package:
* 35 hours a week
* Starting wage £14.00 – £14.50 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
* 30 days holiday (including bank holidays and Christmas closure)
