We have a new opportunity to join our Head Office Team at Pavers as a Trade Compliance Coordinator. This role will be based at our York Head Office, Northminster Business Park, and we are open to considering full-time and part-time applications for the role.
This role sits within our newly formed Trade Compliance Department, formed due to growth in international trade, and will be focused on giving clearance instructions to appointed UK brokers and couriers, to ensure we remain compliant with HMRC regulations, completing customs documentation and maintaining records on our inhouse tracking systems. You’ll liaise with internal teams on a regular basic including, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Logistics & Buying to ensure you have all the right information in the right place at the right time.
The role will ideally suit an individual with strong administration skills, good excel skills and high attention to detail to keep us compliant and we would be open to considering applications from International Business graduate looking for their first industry role. With the department being focussed on international trade, a second language would be beneficial e.g. Chinese/Italian/Portuguese/Spanish!

* Giving clearance instructions to appointed UK brokers and couriers
* Filling in customs entries in an accurate manner
* Check the accuracy of the suppliers and freight forwarders documentation
* Uploading the supplier Invoice, Packing List and B/L on CargoES Flow
* Maintain records and documentation
* Triage queries regarding incoming cargo in a timely manner to either supply chain, suppliers or the buying teams
* Arrange returns from E.U stores under RGR or Free Circulation custom procedure as applicable
* Finding & checking shoe product samples, from the sample room, with the quality team to ensure we are only paying duties and VAT at the right levels for the materials on our products
* Ad hoc projects. e.g. New software testing, etc
