A Stock and Purchase Controller is required for a key role in the procurement & supply chain department in an esteemed manufacturing company. This role involves the efficient and effective completion of the stock control daily workload, ensuring all responsibilities are managed to a good standard. Description Follow company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Microsoft D365. Placing and managing Purchase Orders for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers. Placing and managing orders for the Maintenance and Cleaning Dept's as required, including liaising with suppliers. Reporting weekly and monthly balances. Achieve all site performance targets to agreed deadlines. Ensure PI checks are completed and major variances investigated as per procedures. Process daily stock transfers including Production items. General administration of stock. Assisting in company projects when required. Any other work as directedProfile A successful Stock and Purchase Controller should have: Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using supply chain software. A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
