If you have a passion for hands-on mechanical work and high-quality service, this is the role for you The Package: Salary: £32,445 per annum Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm Benefits: Overtime, Professional development, ongoing training, and potential for growth Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced engineers and mentor apprentices Duties and Responsibilities: Perform the safe disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of components, including engines, transmissions, axles, and transfer cases Ensure testing and evaluation of completed units to guarantee reliability and customer satisfaction Maintain high standards of workmanship adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 regulations Participate in training new engineers and apprentices, promoting high standards of work and good practice Collaborate with the Parts team to ensure accurate part identification and ordering Achieve KPIs related to repair times, technical data collection, and operational targets Provide suggestions to improve operational efficiency and maintain excellent time management Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical and engineering environment Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, particularly with large diesel engines and transmissions Proficiency with tooling and diagnostic equipment Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure High attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Valid driving license Apply Now Shortlisted candidates will receive a call within 3 hours during working hours to discuss the role further.
