In this pivotal role, you will manage a range of non-domestic property assets, specifically driving forward capital projects that directly benefit our community. Your expertise will be critical in: Development Projects : Spearheading the acquisition of land for new schools, road infrastructure, and other significant community projects. Project Delivery : Coordinating all property-related aspects of development initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborating with internal and external design teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project goals while maintaining sustainability objectives. Key Responsibilities include; Lead Negotiations : Engage with landowners and tenants to facilitate seamless project execution. Project Management : Oversee and streamline due diligence and preparatory activities for quick land and property disposals, including securing development design briefs and outline planning consents. Collaborative Approach : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet community needs and expectations. Support the Estates Team : While your primary focus will be on development and project work, your experience will also enhance other team functions, including acquisitions, disposals, property management, and valuations. The Person We’re searching for an individual who possesses the following qualifications and attributes: Educational Background : Degree level or equivalent in a relevant construction or professional discipline (SCQF level 9). Professional Qualification : RICS membership or similar property-related qualification is required. Development Experience : Strong background in managing development projects and navigating the complexities of property coordination. Project Management Skills : Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively. Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of property development, planning and construction legislation, and industry best practices. Self-Starter : Capable of working independently while engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, including private sector developers and consultants. Excellent Communicator : Strong report writing and interpersonal skills. Driving Licence : Valid UK driving licence for site visits around Fife.
