Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is part of the BMW Group and its Goodwood manufacturing plant sits in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Human Resources Management, Training & Apprentice Department – 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
The Rolls-Royce Training team is responsible for steering the training and development needs of all employees and apprentices within our UK based business (dealerships are not within the scope of our responsibility).
Your time will be split between the two teams, 4 days with the apprentice training team and 1 day with the Employee Training team (this is subject to change). In the Apprentice Training area, you will be part of the team to support with all aspects of apprentice onboarding, apprentice marketing and school events. You will develop and organise apprentice engagement activities. Over the course of the year, you will build the skills needed to plan and run apprentice events including recruitment Assessment Centres and Welcome Evenings.
With the Employee Training team, you will support with developing training strategies focusing on learning culture, leading the marketing and communication topic to ensure our offers are known and utilised and your creativity will be an asset in creating innovative training programmes and managing cost structures.

What will you be doing?
1. Integration into the team through specific tasks which will generate understanding of current business processes.
2. Organisation and co-ordination of training activities and topics.
3. Research into new forms of training.
4. Steering of identified projects and innovations within the given department.
5. Representing the business at events and activities.
6. Supporting with day-to-day apprentice topics and onboarding.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business or Human Resources, progressing towards a minimum 2:2 or above.
2. Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
3. Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
4. Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
5. An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
