What will this role entail? Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the enjoyable and safe delivery of Rocksport activities by following the agreed standard operating procedures and risk assessments. You will also be working with the wider team to ensure the safe of operation of Cheddar Gorge and caves for our staff, visitors, and guests. Key duties will include: To deliver a range of Rocksport activities to include Caving, Climbing and similar outdoor adventurous activities. Deliver activity sessions to a variety of people in line with agreed standard operating procedures and risk assessments to ensure high standards of safety for themselves colleagues and guests. Have a wide range of background knowledge about adventurous outdoor activities, history and the local area (training will be provided). Assist the Operation team with the running of the Show Cave’s and wider Gorge were required. In addition to the practical elements of this role there is also an administrative element to the safe running of activities which the post holder will be expected to complete What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?
