We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our team at our Buckie Depot on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week.
This is a full-time opportunity to work as part of the operations team, carrying out warehouse duties, vehicle loading / unloading & bulk product handling. Driving will include multi-drop van rounds and bulk pumping to our customer network. Based in Buckie, the role will require an enthusiastic approach, always working in a professional and safe manner. Weekend & evening working may be required with extra hours to cover holiday periods.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our company and grow from within. As a Warehouse Operative and Driver you will report to and assist our warehouse supervisor in daily duties including picking stocks for customer orders and maintaining a methodical stock rotation working within the parameters of our HSE regulations. You will be required to carry out fork lift truck activities around the warehouse & yard areas and safely pack product away on racking. Attention to detail is paramount with our extensive product range and self motivation as well as team spirit is essential.
Experience desired for the post of Warehouse Operative and Driver:
1. Valid counterbalance FLT licence
2. Experience of stock management processes
3. Previous experience in a commercial or distribution environment
4. Knowledge of local area an advantage
5. Flexible team player with good communication skills
6. A good level of fitness
7. Warehouse experience essential
8. Class 2 license advantageous
