The Technology team is responsible for cyber security, cloud platforms, IT projects, digital tools, networks, IT infrastructure and ERP service. You will be a project manager responsible for the timely delivery of established and new services of varying size and complexity. For example, cloud printing, major user facing upgrades such as Windows 11, migration and transition projects and commissioning new site infrastructure. This is an extremely busy, fast paced, challenging environment with a wide variety of work. As a Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects. You will plan, prioritise, drive progress, resolve issues and be responsible for reporting progress to the Head of Programme Delivery, who you will report to directly. The role includes involvement in procurement exercises for IT services, managing suppliers, tracking project expenditure against budgets and drafting business cases. The role will provide the opportunity for you to work collaboratively with a number of stakeholders, both internally and externally including technical, cyber, finance and commercial colleagues. Job Description As a Digital Project Manager you’ll: manage the delivery of multiple technology projects at pace and be able to pivot between projects where competing priorities emerge be experienced in using a number of Digital tools to manage projects. These include, but are not limited to, MS Teams Planner, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, as well as creating a repository of project documentation in MS SharePoint manage internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of projects. This will include clearly defining objectives and scope, maintaining stakeholder alignment and acceptance, and clearly setting expectations manage staff in project teams and/or project management office, you will ensure focus on delivery, governance and processes whilst at the same time creating a positive and collaborative working environment oversee the efficient management of projects from initiation through to completion. As a Digital Project Manager You’ll Possess: demonstrable experience in managing and delivering digital projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a Digital environment the ability to manage delivery at pace of a number of related and unrelated projects, running in parallel across the Technology portfolio.
