Education and Training
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching in the absence of the regular class teacher
* Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans effectively
* Manage the classroom and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
* Provide feedback on student progress to regular class teachers
* Engage students in the learning process and maintain discipline
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Enhanced DBS check
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
* Additional training in special education or behaviour management
* Experience teaching in a diverse classroom setting
This role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. The PPA Teacher may need to cover a variety of subjects and year groups based on the school's needs.
