Cedar Recruitment are delighted to be supporting with the recruitment of an Estates and Corporate Services Category Manager for a leading Education client who are voted 7th best in the UK for research.

This role is permanent and is paying between £55,000-£58,500 per annum. For this role you must be able to get into East London 2 days per week.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Lead on medium-high risk and value procurement projects
* Actively support value for money
* Ensure transparent and compliant tenders are carried out
* Ensure compliance and best value is achieved for all tenders
* Coordinate the development of product/service specifications
* Be a point of contact for providing contractual advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
* Quantify and deliver procurement savings in accordance with agreed objectives
* Contribute to the management and development of Queen Mary’s procurement policy and procedures
* Deliver and develop Category Plans and strategies
Requirements:
* At least 4 years of experience of running end-to-end procurements across the public sector (PCR2015)
* Experience of working to either NEC or JCT contract suites or relevant category experience
* Experience of implementing category strategies and developing procurement processes and pipeline
