We are excited to be recruiting for a Freight and Logistics Coordinator to join our Bradford based client, a global freight-forwarder. Our client is looking for someone with a background in import/export logistics to take on this new challenge.
This person will be responsible for ensuring top-tier customer service for Overseas Agents, Import Clients, and selected clients. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining and developing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities of a Freight and Logistics Coordinator:
• Deliver ‘VIP’ service to external salespeople, clients, and agents.
• Handle customer queries via phone and email – managing customer requirements appropriately.
• Manage shared inbox and provide quotes and service information.
• Input customer bookings and liaising with customers, suppliers, and agents.
• Produce and send documentation, including bills of lading.
• Stay ahead of competition through research and networking.
Skills and attributes of a Freight and Logistics Coordinator:
• Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and multitask.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Good education in Maths and English.
• Experience in import/export freight forwarding is essential.
