Senior Reporting & Analysis Manager Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting & Analysis Manager with consultancy experience and a proven ability to simplify complex problems to lead our Platform Modernisation Programme. You will be responsible for manging internal and external reporting for a portfolio, with the goal of providing insights that can assist with strategic decision making and efficiency. The Platform Modernisation Programme: The Platform Modernisation programme is a key initiative within the NHS England Data Services transformation portfolio. Its mission is to revolutionise the NHS's data platform estate. This will be achieved by streamlining the end-to-end data analytics lifecycle. The programme aims to consolidate existing platforms to minimise duplication, incorporate advanced tooling, and adopt an event-based architecture, thereby enhancing efficiency across the board. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Be responsible for managing the whole lifecycle of a project, reporting on progress, and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary to the project board. Reporting & Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive reporting and analysis frameworks to support the Platform Modernisation Programme. Enhancing Methodologies: Play a pivotal role in refining and advancing our project and programme management techniques, promoting an ethos of ongoing enhancement. Engaging Stakeholders: Proactively engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand, develop and deliver reporting requirements. RAID Log Management: Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies within projects to ensure a comprehensive oversight and effective resolution of factors that can impact project success. Presentations: Competent in creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations to decision makers. Knowledge and Skills: Educational Achievement: Hold a degree or demonstrating equivalent experience in a healthcare or related field. Project Management Experience: Excellent knowledge of best practice and innovation in project management methodologies gained within the NHS or similar healthcare settings. Experience: You will have extensive experience working within a consultancy role Further Qualifications : Relevant qualifications in project management for example PRINCE2. Communication Skills: Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills. Showing proficiency in both written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, tailored to the unique requirements of the NHS. Healthcare Insight: A solid understanding of the health and social care landscape, including policy, governance, and operational challenges in the NHS.
