Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham on a 9 month FTC basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
Equans has been awarded a significant 18-month project by the National Lottery to refresh hardware at over 44,000 retailers across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in routing to lead and ensure the seamless execution of this project.

What will you deliver?
* Oversee the planning and execution of National Lottery equipment installation and deinstallation across the UK and Ireland.
* Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
* Lead the initiation and planning phases, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with project objectives.
* Coordinate resource availability and allocation, ensuring the right teams and equipment are in place throughout the project lifecycle.
* Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor, track, and report on progress, ensuring milestones are met.
* Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure flawless project execution.
* Build and manage strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
* Use project management tools and techniques to track and measure project performance.
* Identify potential risks and perform risk management analysis to mitigate project challenges.
* Report project status, issues, and escalation points to senior management as required.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for transparency and reporting.
* Provide necessary training and support for the team and stakeholders as part of the site contract requirements.

Who are we looking for?
* Manage the deinstallation and installation of all the new National Lottery hardware across the UK, Ireland and surrounding isles ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner.
* Accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
* Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisation.
* Ensure personnel manage the contract to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as they apply.
* Monitor and develop direct reports through training and regular reviews.
* Deliver training and corporate briefings.
* Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment, and quality are effectively managed with risk assessments, PPE, training, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients.
* Work with the dedicated teams in planning, implementing, and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the schedule and BAU.
* Establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services.
* Review the interface with third party suppliers and sub-contractors.
* Maintain commercial understanding of the client contractual deliverables across all services.
* Maintain and agree a clear business plan for the appointed contract.
* Work with operational management to develop performance measurement and improvement objectives in line with business plan through positive collaboration.
* Review contract performance monthly with the Account Manager and Regional Manager and agree future plans.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups.
* Set, monitor and control SLAs seeking opportunities to provide added value across the delivery stakeholders.
* Understand and meet customer requirements, utilising various feedback mechanisms to enhance service delivery.
* Regularly meet with the client to further understand their organisation and requirements.
