We are currently in search of an Assistant Physicist (Radiotherapy Physics) to cover maternity leave for a fixed period of 12 months.
The ideal candidate should confidently demonstrate genuine passion and commitment to patient care and safety.
If successful, you will join an excellent team of Clinical Scientists, Radiographers, Dosimetrists, Clinical Technologists, and Healthcare Science assistant practitioners who provide a comprehensive physics service to the Radiotherapy Department.
Routine Service Provision
You'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to every aspect of our daily service delivery in Radiotherapy Physics.
Innovation and Development
This is a key role in shaping the future of cancer treatment by assisting in the development of new techniques and processes.
You would be joining us at an exciting time, with SGRT being rolled out on all of our treatment machines and online Adaptive Radiotherapy, via Ethos, being delivered in the next 12 months.

Main duties of the job
This is an assistant post to support a Physicist gain experience in a Radiotherapy Physics environment. The Assistant will be supported to:
1. Assist in all aspects of routine service provision of the Radiotherapy Physics department.
2. Undertake work as part of project-based teams to assist in the development of new techniques and processes.
