You will have excellent knowledge and experience of low voltage systems up to 1000V, high voltage systems up to 11kV and high voltage systems up to 132kV. You will be proficient in quoting, planning and delivering site services & maintenance, modifications, upgrades, repairs and the integration of new systems. You will be responsible for co-ordinating with various departments, briefing the service engineers and helping to plan equipment to ensure the successful implementation of service and maintenance programmes for switchgear, transformers, protection, and associated equipment. You will demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and you will proactively update your customers and internal team members on the status of their project, upholding the quality service standards which are expected by our global client base. You will go the extra mile to nurture and build lasting relationships with clients, taking the time to get under the skin of their asset requirements to ensure R&B becomes their go-to power systems partner. You will attend project management meetings to update on the status of your projects; using this as an opportunity to highlight key successes, as well as any emerging challenges which you will require support to overcome. You will champion the company brand and help to create a positive working environment for your peers and colleagues. You will lead by example, maintaining an approachable leadership style to galvanise your team of engineers and support staff. Management Responsibilities: Lead and manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, to ensure this is completed in accordance with industry standards of scope, on time and within budget Defining all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans. Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilisation. Attend regular meetings to check the progress of your projects and re-enforce deadlines and requirements where necessary. Maintain the status updates of each project you produce in SCORO, ensuring that all data is updated in a timely fashion to provide the business with a clear view of job wins / losses. Work closely with the Operations Manager and wider Service Department to attend meetings and keep work schedules on track. Work with the engineers to ensure all reporting and timesheets associated with your projects are completed in a timely manner to a high standard
