Responsibilities Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4. Guide students through GCSE PE coursework and exam preparation. Incorporate various sports, fitness activities, and health education into lessons. Work alongside the department to enhance the PE curriculum with contemporary insights. Support extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, and competitions. Develop and manage school sports teams. Organize and lead school sports events. Maintain and manage PE department resources and equipment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and implementation of PE department policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Physical Education or a related field. PGCE or QTS. Experience teaching PE up to KS4. Ability to create engaging lessons and assess students effectively. Strong collaboration skills within a sports department.
