Shaw healthcare is delighted to announce that we are a Real Living Wage Employer as well as the UK’s largest employee-owned healthcare company. In our recognition of your contribution to the care that our service users need, we are committed to making sure your salary is significantly more than the Government National Minimum Wage.
Are you a friendly, compassionate, and caring person looking for a career where you feel valued and rewarded for your work? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Do you enjoy helping people achieve their goals? This is what a career in Shaw healthcare is all about. We strive to provide as much flexible working as possible to secure your work/life balance.
Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Rotherlea. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference in the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users, providing the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that enables you to spend more time with the service users you care for. Rotherlea has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care, and the needs of our service users are at the center of all we do every single day.
As a Team Leader, you’ll have previous experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organized, and great with people. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential, and you should have completed or be working towards your QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with all those around you, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed, keeping healthcare professionals informed, and updating your Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress. As a team player, you can easily follow guidelines and policies and will have good writing skills, as you will need to document care plans.
We will provide you with full training, including our leadership program which can support your development and provide opportunities for progression within Shaw.
