Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a full-time 1:1 Support Assistant to work in one of our over-subscribed Secondary schools.
The school is part of a large established trust that works together with all of their schools to support a transparent vision of ambition & empowerment for all pupils to fulfill lifelong learning.
Set in the northern part of Bristol, the school is easily accessible by public transport and has on-street parking available.
The school is looking for an experienced support assistant to work 1:1 with a student with physical needs, as well as providing academic support.
You will work closely with the school's SENCO and SEND team to support the student with their individual learning and development plan, offering an engaging and supportive environment that enables the student to make progress and access their learning with the right support.
Role: 1:1 Support Assistant
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, term time only
Location: North Bristol
Skill set: Ideal for anyone with a care background or experience in supporting children or adults with physical needs. Manual Handling Training is desirable but not essential, as this can be provided.
