Job Description
As a Guest Service Assistant, your responsibilities include:
1. Upselling the hotel and local area.
2. Overseeing a busy reception area and dealing with guests checking in/out and enquiries.
3. Working in the bar, kitchen, and restaurant areas as needed.
4. Supporting any department in line with business demands.

Role in our Family
Within the Guest Service Assistant role, key responsibilities include:
1. Operating the food and beverage department to agreed hotel standards.
2. Maintaining clean and tidy reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office, and staff areas.
3. Dealing with guest queries/complaints politely and ensuring guest satisfaction.
4. Recording all complaints, comments, special requests, and other business in the daily handover log.
5. Clearly communicating with other departments to ensure minimal impact on guest service.
6. Ensuring that all monies are kept in a safe and secure area, adhering to the hotel's cash handling procedures.
7. Efficiently turning around all rooms.
8. Providing efficient and friendly service to guests at all times, striving to increase guest satisfaction and Trip Advisor scores and reviews.
