Daniel Owen are looking for a Business Support Assistant in Grimsby: Start date is Monday 11th November and the contract runs till the 25th June 2025. The role is to provide a broad range of support to internal and external stakeholders in to ensure the smooth transfer of supply chain responsibilities from our client to North East Lincolnshire Council. The post holder will use their existing skills and knowledge to review procurement activity and to support suppliers through the transfer process. This will include manipulating data, contacting suppliers, maintaining supplier lists, producing mass mailings. The post does sound heavily procurement but it will be assisting all areas of the business administratively in readiness for the exit of the contract in June 25. Requirements: No previous experience is required as on the job training will be given. GCSE grade C in Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 2 Communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient in using various Microsoft applications and databases. Flexible, pro-active approach.
