Our core business is founded on providing a comprehensive energy management and consultancy service; we advise clients on their total energy package – price, consumption, efficiency, and cost reduction.
We assist businesses of all sizes ranging from SMEs to blue-chip companies in purchasing and managing their energy contracts. Our main focus has and always will be client satisfaction, which is reflected in our fantastic client retention rate.
The role
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our growing team and have a direct impact on the future of our business. You will be directly responsible for growth by identifying & proactively engaging with new business prospects, calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using Entech's services. The right candidate for this role will be someone who is keen to pick up the phone and attend face-to-face meetings.
Responsibilities
1. Make outbound B2B sales calls.
2. Identify renewal windows and negotiate new energy & utility tariffs.
3. Generate leads and drive new business through networking, sales meetings, exhibitions, social media, and online research.
4. Identify specific client needs and match them with suitable products.
5. Provide accurate energy and utility quotations for customers.
6. Maintain accurate account management data within the CRM.
7. Build rapport with potential customers and existing suppliers, providing them with unrivaled service.
8. Use a consultative approach to negotiate, navigate, and secure sales.
9. Achieve monthly targets.
10. Operate to strict processes and adhere to industry regulations while staying informed of industry changes and adapting accordingly.
Skills & Experience
1. 2+ years experience in B2B business development/sales.
2. Experience in the B2B Energy Industry is highly desired but not essential.
3. Self-motivated with the drive to deliver results in a challenging market.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
6. Ability to build and maintain strong customer & supplier relationships.
7. Resilient and able to work under pressure.
8. A Clean UK Driving Licence.
Benefits
1. Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 pa DoE + uncapped commission with a realistic OTE of £50k.
2. 20 Days Holiday (increased by 1 day per year of service up to 25 days) + Bank Holidays.
3. 37 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:00 with 13:30 finish every Friday.
4. Free on-site parking.
