We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our strategic growth initiatives, ensure the successful development of new services, and build strong professional relationships that enhance our reputation as a trusted care provider.

The Role
Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our service offerings, driving occupancy rates, and ensuring the quality and success of new services. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, organisational, and networking skills.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This pivotal role encompasses key responsibilities across several critical areas, including: Strategic Growth, New Service Implementation, Tenders & Bids, Customer Care & Quality, Financial Management, and Leadership & Collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development of new services in collaboration with operational teams.
2. Regularly review and enhance business development procedures and systems.
3. Manage referrals from assessment through to successful transition and ongoing monitoring.
4. Work closely with operational colleagues to maintain service quality and adherence to regulatory standards.
5. Contribute to tender submissions, emergency referrals, and mini bids.
6. Develop marketing materials and represent Midway at professional events.
7. Monitor quality assurance, ensuring services comply with CQC and contractual standards.
8. Engage service users, families, and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.
9. Monitor service budgets, recruitment, and rostering to maintain financial viability.
10. Provide inspirational leadership, mentoring, and supervision to team members.
11. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience in multi-site or senior management within the social care sector.
2. Demonstrable success in business development, setting up new services, and managing occupancy rates.
3. Strong knowledge of CQC standards, The Care Act, and best practices for adults with learning disabilities.
4. Experience managing operational budgets and financial performance.
5. Full, clean driving license (up to 3 points considered).
