To commence September 2025
Baysgarth School is a comprehensive school which is built on strong family values, where everyone is seen, recognised and valued. This had led to us becoming one of the most successful and oversubscribed schools in the region.
Our students are amazing. They are intelligent, articulate, funny, welcoming and appreciative of great teaching. They deserve the best and we intend to make sure that this is what they receive, in every subject, every day of their school lives.
To do this we need outstanding teachers who are dedicated, passionate, dynamic, caring and inspiring. We strongly feel we have a world class staff team and we are looking for someone to join one of the strongest teams within it.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Education teacher to join our dedicated team. We welcome any applicants who share our commitment to promoting an inclusive and motivating environment where all students, regardless of ability, feel encouraged to participate and excel. Successful candidates will uphold high standards of teaching and behaviour while delivering engaging and fun PE lessons that challenge and inspire students. A strong alignment with the school’s ethos of respect, resilience and responsibility is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for physical activity and a desire to instill a lifelong love of sport and fitness in our students.
In addition our staff are all expected to have strong inclusive values and play a significant pastoral role, ensuring all our students feel cared for. We pride ourselves on strong relationships with students and the role of the form tutor is the most important one for each student.
The school boosts outstanding facilities in all areas, reflecting our commitment to our staff and students in ensuring the very best conditions for learning.
Baysgarth School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for enhanced disclosure from the DBS.
