We are looking for asupport worker for a charming humorous and happy young man withcomplex care needs who requires continuous supervision care andsupport. The role is based in Lewes Brighton in our clients ownhome. The waking night hours are 7pm to 7am on a Wednesday ThursdayandSunday.
Aboutthe Client and SupportNeeded:
Ourclients interests are varied and he loves playing with his legowatching TV and visiting museums especially the Imperial WarMuseum. In spite of our clients medical conditions he is describedas being the happiest person ever with a quick sense of humourenjoying life and college whilst being supported by his parentsyounger sibling and careteam.
Ourclient needs support to ensure he is safe. Your role will be toensure he is never left alone and to respond to him when neededaccompanying him to the bathroom supporting during seizures andcalling for assistance if necessary. You will also ensure hismedication is administered on time eachmorning.
Youwill ideally have experience of a similar care role and a knowledgeof childrens British culture or similarinterests.
Youshould be friendly enthusiastic and be meticulous withpunctuality...a good sense of humour is amust!!
