About the Role
As a Customer Success Partner (CSP) at Makosi, you’ll play a critical role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with a portfolio of accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. The CSP works closely with clients post-sale to ensure they maximize the value of Makosi’s dynamic solutions. You will drive adoption, satisfaction, expansion, and retention across our client base, serving as the quarterback of the customer relationship. Your ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engagement Management, and Finance will be essential in delivering a seamless client experience. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, the CSP ensures that customer success is central to Makosi's continued growth and innovation.
We are seeking a highly proactive, client-centric individual with extensive experience in managing enterprise-level relationships, particularly in professional services and public accounting firms. Your Daily Adventures Will Include
* Manage post-sales activity for Makosi clients through strategic relationship management, planning, and flawless execution.
* Own client success outcomes across a portfolio of global accounts: retention, expansion, customer advocacy, and lifetime value.
* Lead the customer relationship lifecycle, from onboarding through to ongoing adoption, ensuring that every engagement delivers value aligned with the customer’s business goals.
* Successfully achieve and exceed Client Success revenue and retention targets, driving growth within your portfolio.
* Conduct regular Strategic Business Reviews to ensure alignment with client priorities, mitigate risks, and foster opportunities for further collaboration.
* Project manage multiple customer engagements, working closely with cross-functional internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that deepen relationships and expand opportunities.
* Manage customer issues and escalations, overseeing from initial report to successful resolution.
* Maintain product expertise across Makosi's suite of solutions (Audit, TAS, IT Audit, etc.).
* Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients, balancing their needs with Makosi’s objectives.
* Act as the voice of the customer, providing valuable insights to help shape product innovation and optimize internal processes.
* Partner with Sales to drive new business opportunities and ensure a seamless transition from sales to client success.
* Identify process efficiencies to improve overall productivity for the Client Success department and Makosi.
Skills & Qualifications
* 5+ years of Customer Success or Account Management experience, preferably within the public accounting or professional services industry.
* Proven experience in consultative sales, closing six and seven-figure deals, and exceeding revenue goals.
* Strong project management skills and ability to manage concurrent engagements of varying complexity.
* Outstanding relationship management skills, with the ability to build lasting professional connections with clients and internal teams.
* Experience selling to C-suite, Partners, and HR stakeholders at professional services firms (audit or advisory firm experience preferred).
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a solution-oriented mindset and proactive approach.
* High-impact communication skills with strong negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to drive team-based selling and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Travel when necessary to meet with clients.
