What you'll be doing
This role will be responsible for all digital platforms with a focus on driving commercial success through decision making. Ensuring onsite merchandising commercial decisions are in line with the Travis Perkins trading plan, by delivering best in class website experience and ensuring we have the most relevant website through onsite personalisation tools.
Accountabilities:
1. Own and deliver the digital merchandising and site experience vision, including surfacing and prioritising product presentation, web site usability, and cross-device improvements to drive increases in conversion rates, AOV and margin.
2. Drive onsite promotion planning and extended range that complement the offering and ensure sales budgets are exceeded.
3. Coordinate with Buyers, Planners to execute optimised buys, including creating class-level plans for web exclusives, Core attachments, and extended assortments. Evaluate and recommend product mix based on historical activity, seasonal trends, and other factors.
4. Responsible for traffic driving marketing activities such as search/SEO, PPC, affiliates and other digital marketing channels.
5. Own elements of Group Data Management to ensure best in class website experience for our customers.
6. Conducts specialised online merchandising tasks including homepage click, basket content, end of campaign, sales volumes, basket abandonment, and traffic analysis.
7. Regularly checking the website to ensure accuracy and relevancy of navigation, search and product placement.
It would be great if you had…
The successful candidate will have experience within an E-commerce work environment and have done a similar role. You will have proven analytical, problem solving skills and a strong commercial acumen and financial competence.
Able to communicate and influence at all levels, able to bring together cross functional groups of people and can demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills.
