Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone. Every member of staff plays their role, working within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants should be organised, confident with a flexible approach and a proven track record of working in a busy reception environment. The successful applicant will ensure all bookings, administration and payment procedures are carried out thoroughly and accurately using good product knowledge to enhance this. With the ability to multi-task, the post holder will work as part of the team greeting our customers to the centre, using a high-quality customer service approach to ensure a friendly and welcoming environment. Experience of using computer packages, customer relations and the ability to process payments is essential, however additional training will be given.
There are two positions available with shifts being offered on a part time basis with an average of two shifts per week at either 18 or 16 hours per week. Shifts vary from evening, weekend and daytime shifts during the centres opening hours of 5.30am – 10.30pm. For further information regarding working hours, please contact riverside@chelmsford.gov.uk.
