About The Role:
We're looking for a direct response-oriented Paid Social Creative Strategist to supercharge our ad creative performance. You'll take the lead on ideating, scripting, and overseeing the creation of high-impact ad content that scales. As the first ad creative hire, this is your chance to create and shape the division for a hyper-growth DTC startup and directly influence revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
* Creative Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute 100+ engaging ad concepts monthly that resonate with our target audience and drive conversions
* Research & Analysis: Using tools like Foreplay or Atria, conduct deep customer & competitor research to identify ad concepts and angles that will resonate with customers
* AI Integration: Explore and implement AI software solutions to enhance content output and creative efficiency
* Performance Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance using tools like Atria and Motion, using data to influence iterations and new creative ideas
* Content Diversity: Lead initiatives to increase creative diversity across our ad accounts, owning the full creative lifecycle from concept to production
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with senior team members and founders to coordinate video production teams, UGC creators, and the editing team to deliver standout paid social content
* Creative Direction: Brief and coordinate static, UGC, and video ad creative to production teams, managing the process end-to-end
* Copywriting: Create and edit direct response ad copy and scripts across various formats (UGC, design, video ads etc.)
* Trend Research: Conduct daily ad creative & social media research to stay ahead of trends and identify winning concepts
Skills You’ll Need:
* At least 1 year of experience managing paid social creative strategy in an e-commerce setting (experience in health & wellness/beauty a bonus)
* Proven direct response copywriting ability with a deep understanding of consumer psychology and market states of awareness
* Experience using Atria/Motion, Foreplay or other similar creative analytics tools
* Ability to problem-solve & pivot quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
* Ambitious, self motivated and excited to drive growth
* A data-driven mindset to refine ad concepts and boost performance
* Proactive, creative thinking with the ability to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless creative execution
* A passion for health/wellness is a plus
* DTC obsessed
