Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the team in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen operation.
* Assist with all food preparations as delegated by the senior chefs.
* Follow all recipe guidelines and standards as set by senior chefs.
* Contribute to and assist in the production of suitable innovative menu designs.
* Ensure the quality of food is of the exceptional standard expected when dining at the hotel.
* Strive towards achievement and improvement by researching new techniques and methods.
* Assist on other sections or help with other duties when required.
* Arrive for duty on time and with clean and hygienic presentation.
* Ensure the CDP is kept aware of any relevant feedback from hotel guests or staff.
* Monitor and control the quality of produce throughout food production.
* Work in a clean and tidy fashion ensuring that wastage is kept to a minimum.
* Demonstrate knowledge of the Exclusive Collection and act as an ambassador for the company.
* Deliver company standards and values consistently.
* Be aware of all relevant laws and legislation regarding food handling, storage, hygiene, and health and safety.
