Role Responsibilities
The role itself will be to effectively teach designated pupils and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils in the absence of their regular class teacher. The successful candidate will:
1. Have previous teaching/lecturing experience
2. Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
3. Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
4. Have effective verbal and written communication
5. Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
6. Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
7. Address SEN/SEMH needs
8. Utilise strong behaviour management techniques

Hours: 8:30 - 15:30
