About the job
As a Property Information Officer, you will excel as a subject matter expert and deliver an efficient and effective management and information service. This includes collating, maintaining, analysing, interpreting, and presenting a diverse range of data and information from both paper and digital records for various internal and external stakeholders
Our work in Property Information Team and any given day can often feel quite different from the next! There will be some key responsibilities likely to feature in this role, including:
1. Carrying out in-depth interrogation, analysis and interpretation of complex legal documents, external sources and log information on various relevant database systems.
2. Identifying problems with property ownership data and provide solutions to customer enquiries.
3. Communicating effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders, including the general public, Members, managers, colleagues from across the County Council, IT software providers, Legal Services, His Majesty’s Land Registry, and solicitors representing customers.

Required experience and skills
4. Experience in a customer-focused environment, handling information requests in accordance with statutory regulations, and working with legal documents while adhering to GDPR regulations.
5. Strong IT competency, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for word processing, data processing, database management, and the production of statistical data.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
7. Capable of organising and prioritising work, coordinating a variety of tasks in a clear and logical manner, and consistently meeting agreed deadlines to minimise disruption to the business.
8. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex issues and research and interpret data from diverse sources to generate information and reports independently.
