MLL Telecom requires a highly motivated RAN Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate will work independently and efficiently, ensuring high-quality deployment and support of RAN infrastructure. Responsibilities: Installation & Configuration: Install and configure RAN equipment, including base stations, antennas, and associated hardware. Perform system integration and ensure compatibility with existing network infrastructure. Commissioning & Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of installed RAN systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the commissioning process. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of installation processes, configurations, and test results. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on project status, issues, and resolutions. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installation and commissioning activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Follow industry best practices and company procedures to maintain high-quality standards. Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support for RAN-related issues. Assist with the development of technical documentation and training materials. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, field engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide updates on project progress. Qualifications: Education : Relevant qualifications or certifications in installation and commissioning or a related field. Practical experience can substitute for formal education. Experience : At least 3-5 years of experience in RAN installation and commissioning, preferably within the UK telecom sector. Experience with RAN technologies such as LTE, 5G, and associated network equipment. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of RAN systems and network infrastructure. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving with RAN equipment. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with relevant safety and regulatory standards Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson) are advantageous. Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel within the UK as required by project needs. Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call support as needed.
