Our client is a large organisation within the not-for-profit / Education sector, based in Oxford. They have a well-regarded reputation and are committed to making a positive impact within their community. This role is majority office based in central Oxford, with some flexibility in working hours if needed.
Description
The Head of HR will be responsible for the following:
Lead and manage the Human Resources department
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees and related individuals
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Ensure legal compliance throughout the HR departmentProfile
A successful Head of HR should have:
A degree in Human Resources or related field
Proven working experience in a HR managerial role
People-oriented and results-driven
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation
In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practicesJob Offer
Salary of £70,000 - £80,000, dependent on experience
30 days holiday, plus bank holidays
