Venn Group has been approached by a private company who are looking for a temporary to permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Rochdale Salary: £25,000 - £27,000k per year Length: Temporary to permanent Hours: 37.5 hours p/week The role will involve: Processing a high volume of invoices Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone Handling bank and statement reconciliations General bookkeeping duties Monitoring a purchase ledger email inbox, handling queries Communicating with stakeholders including chasing suppliers Preparing BACS payments and weekly pay runs Support the Management Accountant with financial processes and improvements Assisting in training of other colleagues The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, have a basic knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUP’s/Pivot Tables, and be available at short notice.
