Do you have significant teaching or Quality Management experience in Employability, Health and Wellbeing, Art or Greener Living? If the answer to those questions is ‘yes’; then we are looking for you Adult Learning delivers a wide range of learning programmes up to Level 2 for Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council. Our service operates an area based model with core teams in the 6 main localities of Barrow, Carlisle, Kendal, Penrith, Whitehaven and Workington. For this role you will need a physical Cumbria-wide presence. Employability, Health and Wellbeing, Art and Greener are all critical curriculums for us, and so our standards are high. Our ideal candidate will have taught accredited and non-accredited programmes. They will have significant experience of quality processes such as lesson observations and file audits and understand how these tools improve service quality. A number of qualifications in this curriculum are portfolio based, so an IQA qualification or a willingness to work towards one in the first 12 months of appointment, is essential.
