Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and capable leader to join the Surrey Heartlands Trust Provider Collaborative as Programme Manager. Based at Royal Surrey, you'll work across Surrey Heartlands on key Trust Provider Collaborative programmes aiming to improve care and patient outcomes.
As Programme Manager, you will support transformation initiatives through the Surrey Heartlands Trust Provider Collaborative (TPC). Guided by the Senior Programme Management Team and Strategy team at Royal Surrey NHS FT, this role enhances collaborative processes and enables change across NHS providers, ensuring strategic goals are met through effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
The four Surrey Heartlands providers of Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, Royal Surrey NHS FT, Ashford and St Peter's Hospital NHS FT, and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS FT lead Surrey Heartlands Trust Provider Collaborative, driving collaborative initiatives.
Main duties of the job
The TPC programme manager will lead, develop and deliver TPC programmes across Surrey Heartlands providers, focusing on programmes within the TPC clinical transformation programmes and the efficiency at scale programmes. The role requires programme management for identified TPC programmes, supporting SROs achieve the aims and objectives of each programme, meeting deliverables and taking a programme approach as appropriate.
The postholder will ensure the delivery of programme and project milestones, provide comprehensive reports, and lead working groups with key stakeholders. They will be a part of and support the senior programme management team in the oversight and delivery of the TPC portfolio supporting the PMO function.
These responsibilities encompass a multifaceted approach to transformation leadership and delivery. The post holder will be tasked with programme oversight and management, stakeholder engagement, and change management; all geared towards driving organisational excellence and elevating patient care outcomes on a system-wide scale. They will navigate the complexities inherent in multi-provider transformation efforts, ensuring that initiatives are implemented effectively and deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications
* Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience or training in a healthcare setting.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Knowledge and Experience
* Comprehensive programme management and PMO experience, including application of principles and techniques/tools.
