Our client, known for its exceptional service and commitment to building strong client relationships, is currently seeking a skilled individual to join their Personal Tax team in a pivotal role.

As part of the personal tax team, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the work of junior team members. Reporting to the Tax Directors & Partners, the role involves managing and optimizing the performance of the personal tax department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client portfolios, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing revenue.
* Oversee the production and review of personal tax returns for both own portfolio and junior members'.
* Actively participate in tax advisory work relevant to skill level.
* Plan, monitor, and review ad hoc tasks to ensure timely completion within set budgets.
* Conduct consultancy work and attend client meetings as required.
* Undertake ad hoc projects and research as necessary.
* Allocate and review tasks, ensuring appropriate training for trainees.
* Maintain up-to-date tax technical knowledge through continuous professional development.
Requirements
* CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified, with consideration for QBE candidates.
* Minimum 2 years PQE.
* Previous experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, within a firm of Chartered Accountants.
* Proficient in IT (Excel, Word, tax software) and possess strong communication skills.
* Demonstrated supervisory, organizational, and client-focused abilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
* Positive attitude and commitment to the firm's values.

* Salary circa £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
