Role : Credit Controller - FT Length : Maternity leave cover - 9-10 months Location: Belfast City Centre Hourly Rate : £17.50 Brightwork are delighted to be supporting our long standing client, a leading manufacturing company with an outstanding reputation for providing the highest standard and quality of products. Due to a maternity leave in the team, they are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team of 12 for the duration of 9 - 10 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding Credit Controller to gain exposure in a global organisation, with an enviable reputation in their market. The Job: Responsible for securing strong credit control results using various communication formats Report key information daily, weekly, and monthly Enhance systems and procedures for credit control efficiency Collaborate closely with sales and project teams to resolve any issues and free up debt in a timely manner Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations and work with auditors to provide all samples for testing. Support the TL to deliver team performance and maximise the cash conversion in Ireland on a weekly and monthly basis. This is a key deliverable for the country. Ideally deputise for the Credit TL in their absence. The Person: 5 GCSE grade A-C including Maths and English minimum 3rd level education is preferred At least 5 years in a Credit or Risk role Proven ability to consistently deliver high quality results Strong systems capability is required, preferably SAP, Excel and Power Point Experience of decision making in a customer and commercial facing role Proven ability to work & influence cross functionally Working knowledge of the legal aspects of insolvency or debt recovery is advantageous Excellent working knowledge of Credit, AML and GDPR policies is advantageous Next Steps: If your profile matches our requirements, please submit a CV and we will reach out to discuss the opportunity.
