Wood is recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our Digital Operations team focusing on delivering projects and technical studies for our clients. This is a staff role which will be based full time within our Hull office. The Role The successful candidate will assist in delivering projects and technical studies, supporting our principal engineers and project managers, candidates will have the chance to work on technical design for multiple exciting projects. You will be joining a business with a history of Petrochemical, Refineries, gas infrastructure, and Chemicals projects, but also providing services to the power sector and emerging technologies, such as Hydrogen and CCS, in the energy transition market. Expected: Chemical/Process/Petroleum Engineering Degree Chartered Chemical Engineer status preferred Experience of working on Studies, FEED and EPC projects associated with Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Energy or Chemicals sectors. Experience in Carbon Capture and/or Hydrogen is considered to be a bonus Process modelling including Hysys, Aspen Plus and/or Pro II and design packages such as Aspen Tech EDR & Flare System Analyser Experience in developing H&MB, PFD's, P&ID's, MSD's and process equipment / instrument datasheets Experience in Relief and Blowdown calculations Proven core Process Engineering skills and demonstrable design experience A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness Ability to impact and influence fellow workers Demonstrate customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives If all of this sounds good to you, then follow the link to apply and start your journey with Wood
