Position: Deputy Head of Department - Real Estate
Salary: £70,000 +
Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Hours: Full Time - Hybrid Working

Responsibilities:
* Oversee a caseload of high value real estate property transactions, demonstrating expertise and efficiency.
* Support the Head of Department and assist with managerial duties
* Mentoring junior members of staff, including monthly check-ins and and annual performance reviews
* Organising and leading team meetings
* Managing team holiday requests and and team scheduling
* Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are safeguarded throughout the process.
* Ensure compliance with firm standards
* Cultivate strong relationships with clients, developers, and industry professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Actively contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and participate in networking activities to expand our client base.
* Assist with budget planning and marketing strategies
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a proven track record in real estate law
* A minimum of 7PQE
* Strong background in handling high value commercial property transactions
* Networking, marketing and business development experience
* Leadership experience
* Compliance knowledge
* Strategic thinker: experience in business planning, marketing and departmental development
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, coupled with a keen analytical mindset.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service and achieving positive outcomes.
