Facilities: This purpose-designed 4000 sq ft site comprises separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, isolation facilities, 6 consulting rooms, a bereavement room, two theatres, a dental suite, an imaging room, and an associate rest room. The practice will be well equipped with the usual in-house diagnostic and surgical kit.
Team: You will be warmly welcomed into their team and will be joining other key start-up associates to build and drive the practice performance while providing support to each other. Along with an enthusiastic and fun team with high clinical standards, they aim to provide the best possible medical and surgical veterinary care for patients in a pleasant, friendly environment - Making a Better World for Pets.
Role & Responsibilities:
* We are excited to share with you a unique and exciting opportunity to become part of a brand-new vet practice. This is a new opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to develop their career and with a keen desire to drive performance and client experience.
* They are actively seeking an enthusiastic, strategic-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to become part of the start-up team, for a purpose-designed, high-quality practice, which is anticipated to open in November 2024.
* You will demonstrate an exemplary work ethic and will work as a team to implement the direction and frameworks needed to achieve consistent delivery of the business plan through engagement, a positive mindset, and clinical expertise.
Hours:
* 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8.30 am-7.30 pm,
* 1 in 2 Saturday mornings on a rota.
* Saturday hours to increase to a full day and 1 in 3 once there are 3 Vets on the rota.
* They are open to part-time applications.
Candidate Requirements:
* Their ideal candidate will be confident in both general surgery and medicine, but you will have support from the Clinical Director and the wider team if needed.
* The most important thing is that you’re friendly, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.
* They strongly believe in investing in their associates by providing career progression and CPD opportunities (including certificates).
* Your role will be an exciting and varied one. You will have a mixture of in-patient care, surgery, and consultations each day and you will have the opportunity for case continuity and to build great rapport with clients.
Salary: Competitive salary of up to £60,000 p/a FTE - reflective of skills and experience
