Our Client is a leading UK producer of fresh & exciting chilled products based in Yorkshire. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an astute, forward-thinking Commercial Manager to join their dynamic Commercial team.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Taking full P&L accountability for several retail accounts across their chilled own label business, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in key retail clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Day to day and strategic management of Tesco
* Negotiation and implementation of cost price increases, cost mitigation, joint business plans and promotional support in line with business strategy
* Secure new listings and distribution points to support business growth agenda – incremental product ranges along with value added NPD
* Develop collaborative customer relationships and drive joint business plans.
* Analyse market, category, and account data to gain insight to develop designated accounts and channel to create selling stories and competitive advantage.
* Working cross-functional to deliver best in class availability and inbound service level
Candidate Skills
* Highly-motivated
* A good communicator with great interpersonal skills.
* Have robust commercial acumen
* Have the ability to maintain a collaborative, cross-functional network to maximise the performance of the business area and unlock new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally have 3-5 years’ experience in Food/FMCG Industry and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
