Happy Days Too are looking for enthusiastic qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our fantastic team.
As a qualified Early Years Practitioner, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, your role involves utilizing your core skills in childcare and early childhood education to support children's development and well-being. Your experience with children, combined with strong communication skills, will enable you to effectively engage with both children and parents. Additionally, your leadership abilities may be called upon to guide less experienced staff, ensuring a high standard of care and education in accordance with SSSC regulations.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality childcare and early childhood education to children in a nursery setting.
* Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's development and well-being.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support individual learning needs.
* Maintain compliance with SSSC regulations and ensure all childcare practices meet industry standards.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training, including obtaining relevant qualifications such as SVQ.
* Collaborate with team members to implement engaging activities that stimulate children's growth.

Qualifications
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents
* Background in early childhood education, ideally with an SVQ qualification
* Proven ability to manage and lead activities for young children
