As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency Policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Officer:
* Undertakes a range of high-level administrative functions for Mental Health Services, including supervision of administrative staff as required and the coordination of administrative processes.
* Provides high level day to day administrative support services to the relevant team.
* Manages and coordinates administrative support systems for the efficient and effective operation of the relevant team.
* Provides an efficient and accurate keyboard service for staff using dictation and minute taking equipment when required.
* Oversees the ordering, maintaining, and processing of accounts, including cost coding functions for stationery items, other office requisites, and petty cash for the relevant team.
The team:
* Works in diverse administrative roles across all Mental Health Services sites in Southern Tasmania in a casual capacity.
* Contributes to efficient operations within Tasmania’s Mental Health Services.
* Receives full orientation, ongoing support, and training opportunities to expand your admin skills.
Details of appointment: Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 2 years.
* Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
* Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar casual vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
