To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Production Process Operator to come and join our team at our Chesterton Factory in Chesterton, ST5 7ES Responsible for: Quality, Environmental and Energy Assurance testing and data acquisition and analysis. Role summary The successful applicant will be a key member of the Technical department delivering excellent time based data and information using appropriate test methods of materials retrieved from across the manufacturing site/ quarry and providing the support to maintain relevant test methods and infrastructure of the laboratory. Key Responsibilities: Sampling/ testing, and analysis of all process materials and finished product. Carry out functional QA, environmental and energy tasks. Collation and processing of daily, weekly and monthly data and information in accordance with Current quality, environmental and energy systems. Ensure the laboratory is maintained to the highest standards of 5S housekeeping and the requirements of Health and safety at work and work within the SSOP system. Assist and develop SSOP and risk assessments. Education and requirements: Mathematics and English GCSE with an advantage with Chemistry or Physics or relevant experience. Computer literacy with working ability of intermediate Excel and word. Good communication skills. Reliability, flexibility, enthusiasm and some self-initiative working as part of a team. Ability to collate, sort and convert data into information. Self-discipline and the ability to multitask. Experience in performing QA checks. Think you can make a difference? WE ARE your future.
