Application Team Member - Heat press operator (2 Positions Available)
Location: Harrogate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (DOE)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking Application Team Members to join team and contribute to the creation of clothing for some of the most iconic sports and workwear brands in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for handling garments and managing the transfer application process to produce high-quality finished products for shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the wider team to manage garments through unpacking, counting, and moving them through the printing process.
* Safely operate heat presses to apply logos to garments (training will be provided).
* Communicate with the Application Team Leader regarding any faults or discrepancies.
* Work within an agreed shift pattern to meet production demands.
* Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of the work areas.
* Reinforce and encourage the core values and ethics of Avery Dennison in every aspect of the work.
Additional Duties:
* Process job orders as provided by the Team Leader.
* Ensure the correct garments, transfers, and artwork are aligned and ready for production.
* Manage garment counts and ensure they are accurately tracked in and out of your work area.
* Perform basic quality checks and adhere to agreed control processes.
* Respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and follow standard operating procedures.
* Keep the workspace clean and organized at all times.
* Report equipment faults or production issues to the Team Leader.
* Comply with all EHS guidelines set out by the Site Lead and Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
* Strong dexterity and attention to detail, particularly when working with small tolerances.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
* Experience in garment decoration is an advantage.
* Ability to read and follow artwork instructions (not language-dependent).
* Willingness to operate industrial pressing equipment (training provided).
* Knowledge of fabrics and textiles is beneficial.
