Job Title: Electrical Control Engineer
Electrical control engineers design and develop electrical control systems for machinery, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
This role is responsible for implementing planned maintenance programs, analyzing line efficiency data, carrying out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns, and working closely with the project engineering team to deliver critical elements of the business CAPEX plan.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum HNC level or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline, with a minimum of 5 years experience in engineering control and automation.
Key skills include knowledge of computerized maintenance systems and processes, proven knowledge and experience of initiating and implementing continuous improvements, lean manufacturing and Six sigma techniques, and experience working on Siemens S7 PLC's and TIA Portal.
Other responsibilities include mentoring and training others, creating and maintaining a comprehensive library of asset data, and continually researching and keeping pace with cutting edge developments to ensure asset software is compliant and meets all legislative standards.
